Zombie – Live Performance
This recording is from my first singing competition in February of 2019. I was a freshman at Beloit College and I’d spent every spare moment preparing for this show. I love playing guitar but I don’t do it too often so I worked hard to get this song right and created a version that worked well for me. I was the final performance of the evening so it was almost impossible for me to relax during the show. I was really proud of this performance. I ended up getting called back to perform again in the final round a few weeks later, and I won second place! It was such a cool experience that I’m super proud of.
Dead Mom & Anything You Can Do – Live performance
My performance at Beloit College’s bi-annual Evening on Broadway performance. I’m very proud of how this show turned out. Fun fact, the duet performance of “Anything You Can Do” was put together only a few days before. I was filling in for the singer that was originally going to do that song, but I’m really happy with it. I’m very grateful for the help I got putting that number together. Also so happy I finally got to perform “Dead Mom” from Beetlejuice! I was rehearsing this song for a show before COVID and it was great to revisit it. Special thank you to my professor Ian Nie for recording this performance!
